Chandigarh: As part of its promise to provide employment opportunities to the youth of Punjab, the Amarinder Singh government is inviting applications for 2182 posts of Master / Mistress cadre of various disciplines. In which, instructing the Education Department officials to complete the recruitment process of teachers on time, Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla said that to overcome the shortage of teachers in border areas, Hindi, Punjabi, Mathematics, Social Education, English and Science subjects Action has been started for the recruitment of teachers.

He has also informed that like Border cadre, 40 posts of Mistras, 60 posts of Punjabi subject, 450 posts of Mathematics, 52 posts of social education, 880 posts of English subjects, 700 posts of Science Master / Mistress cadre. For the online application forms have been sought on the website of the department at www.educationrecruitmentboard.com. Eligible candidates can apply online from 29 February to 18 March.

Singla has said that in the last three years, nearly 8,000 posts have been filled, including teachers, in which Master / Mistress of various subjects, recruitment in Maritorious schools, E.T.T. The backlog of recruitment, recruitment of disabled persons and heirs of freedom fighters, posts of Center Head and Head Teacher, Physical Lecturer, DPE, Principal, Chief Teacher and Block Primary Education Officers etc. are included.
