Amritsar: Candidates looking for a government job in Punjab have a good chance. Punjab Education Recruitment Board (PSEB) has announced the recruitment of teachers. The application process for these posts has started today, October 14. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website http://educationrecruitmentboard.com. The last date to apply for these posts is November 10. 

Punjab Education Recruitment Board (PSEB) has released a notification for the recruitment of 5,994 posts. Of these, 3,000 vacancies are new, while 2,994 are backlog vacancies. In the new vacancy, 975 posts are reserved for women candidates. At the same time, out of the total 5,994 ETT teacher posts, 1,170 are unreserved, while the rest are reserved for different categories. Candidates applying for these posts should graduate with at least 50 per cent. At the same time, they should have a two-year elementary teacher training course or a two-year diploma in elementary education. Along with this, they are required to have passed PSTET-1.

Candidates applying for these posts will have to submit an application fee of Rs 1,000. However, SC, ST and Handicapped candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, document verification and medical examination.
