Bus full of passengers overturned in a bid to save the car, and then...

Dehradun: A roadways bus coming from Tanakpur to Rishikesh overturned uncontrollably near Bhimgoda Barrage Tiraha in the Dehradun Chilla Chowki area from Uttarakhand. The bus went out of control while trying to save the car coming from Rishikesh's side. A police team has reached the spot.

On Thursday, a passenger bus met with an accident near barrage Tiraha. There were 35 passengers on board the bus, of which 24 were badly injured. Police broke the glass of the vehicle and pulled out 24 passengers. The injured persons have been admitted to the District Hospital in Haridwar. Nowadays, roadways buses are being sent from Chandi Ghat to Chilla Barrage instead of highways.

On the other hand, in view of the warning of heavy rain, the administration had decided to stop the yatra to Hemkund Sahib on Thursday, but the yatra was started after the weather became normal in the morning. As many as 535 pilgrims from Govindghat left for Ghangharia for Hemkund Sahib, while 450 pilgrims were sent from Ghangharia. Senior Manager of Govindghat Gurudwara Sardar Sewa Singh said that the Hemkund Sahib road is smooth. After the weather in the area returned to normalcy, the gurdwara management allowed pilgrims from Govindghat to Ghangharia. The journey to Badrinath Dham is also easy.
