Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) and Punjab Roadways have decided to start bus services on selected routes in the state from today. The time table and fare details of buses from various depots of PRTC in the state were released on Friday. The Chandigarh-Bathinda bus will run from PRTC's Chandigarh depot at 6:42 am on June 1, whose fare will be Rs 295.

Buses will run from Chandigarh to Patiala at 7:30 pm, 8:00 pm, 8:50, 10:30 and 1:30 pm, for which the fare has been fixed at Rs 100. On the other hand, buses will also reach Patiala to Chandigarh at 7:00 am, 7:30, 8:00 pm, 9:00 pm, 1:30 and 2:30 pm. Their fare will also be 100 rupees.

Apart from this, the bus will run from Sangrur depot to Chandigarh at 7:25 am, whose fare will be Rs 170. After this, buses will run from Sangrur to Patiala at 7:54 pm, 9:32 pm and 5:15 pm, whose fare will be 70. Buses will run from this depot to Ludhiana at 7:30 am, 8:30 pm, 10:10 pm and 3:05 pm, whose fare will be Rs 105.  2 buses will run from Kapurthala depot to Chandigarh at 7:00 am and 9:30 pm, whose fare will be Rs 215.

Buses will run from Barnala depot to Chandigarh at 7:07 am, 8:38 pm and 10:13 pm, whose fare will be Rs 210. A bus from Barnala to Patiala will leave at 1:04, whose fare will be Rs 115. Also, from Budhlada depot, Chandigarh will leave via Patiala at 7:12 am, Chandigarh via Via Dharamgarh at 9:07 am and Chandigarh via Via Patra at 9:29 pm. The fare of these buses will be Rs 235, Rs 220 and Rs 255 respectively. Buses will run from Faridkot depot to Chandigarh at 2:10 pm in addition to 7:10 and 8:10 pm, and fare will be Rs 270.
