New Delhi: The movement on the frontiers of Delhi regarding the new agricultural laws is continuing. Meanwhile, the All India Organization of Businessman CAIT has said that this movement has caused a huge loss of trade of about 14 thousand crores in the areas of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. CAIT has requested the farmers' leaders and the Central Government regarding this matter that this issue should be resolved immediately by negotiation.

CAIT has also urged the apex court that in view of the difficulties of businessmen and others, the Vacation Bench of the Supreme Court should immediately set the date of hearing in the case. The National General Secretary of the Confederation of All India Traders, Pravin Khandelwal, has estimated that about 20 per cent of the trucks are not able to bring goods from other states of the country to Delhi due to the agitation. Due to which goods sent from Delhi to other states are also being adversely affected.

According to CAIT, every day about 50 thousand trucks in Delhi bring goods from different states across the country and about 30 thousand trucks carry goods outside Delhi every day to other states. In this context, 20 per cent means that about 10,000 trucks are not able to reach Delhi. At present, there is no dearth of other items including essential commodities in Delhi.
