By 2012, 53.6 million people are likely to use their regional languages while they are online. The credit goes to the decreasing prices of mobile phones and data packs and the availability of local materials.

This is the story of Google. According to this report, the number of Hindi internet users will be far ahead of English users by 2021 and will reach 19.9 million.

It is expected that by that time India will have 73.5 million Internet users. Their number was 40.9 million in 2016. Interestingly, a large number of people who are already using the internet in Indian languages are already taking advantage of government services, classifieds and news and pay them online too.

These people are not only taking advantage of the chat app and digital entertainment but they also adopt digital payment methods.

In the year 2016, the number of people using the Internet in Indian languages was 23.4 million, while the number of people using it in English was 17.7 million. In addition to Hindi, the number of Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu users is expected to grow rapidly.
