New Delhi: An important hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Saturday regarding Amrapali Projects. During this time, the Supreme Court was told that by 2024, all buyers will get a house. The apex court granted two-week interim bail to Amrapali promoter Anil Sharma on the basis of health. The Supreme Court allowed Amrapali Buyers promoter Anil Sharma to undergo an operation at Shankar Nethralaya Chennai Madras.
Apart from this, the court extended the interim bail of one of the promoters Shivpriya for two weeks. At the same time, the Supreme Court refused to grant bail to Amrapali's CFO Chandra Prakash. The apex court has asked Chandra Prakash to file a bail petition in the appropriate forum. During the hearing, the apex court has been told that more than 1,900 homebuyers say that they have defaulted, they are unable to pay.
On this, the apex court took a tough stand and said that if the buyers do not pay the money, then they will collect money by selling their flat so that that money can be used for the rest of the project. During the hearing in the apex court, the Noida Authority opposed the sale of FAR. At the same time, banks said that on the basis of FAR, they have given a loan of 1600 crores to NBCC. In 2019, the apex court had said in its verdict that action should also be taken against the corrupt officials of Noida, this issue will also be debated in the apex court in the next hearing.
