The Yogi Adityanath government has gone a step ahead of the central government's decision to cut the MP fund and has approved the proposal to abolish the MLA fund for one year.

Now the proposal has been approved to cut the salary of CM Yogi Adityanath as well as his ministers in the state. The proposal for Kovid-19 Fund has been passed in the cabinet meeting. Now with the abolition of one year fund of MLAs, the proposal of deduction from their salary was also passed. Along with the ministers and the Chief Minister, the proposal for a 30 percent reduction in the salary of all MLAs has also been approved. The cabinet made changes to the disaster fund 1951. Till now there was an amount of 600 crores in the disaster fund, which has now been increased to 1200 crores.
