Cabinet minister Dharampal Singh's car overturns while returning from Delhi, falls into ditch

Lucknow: A major accident took place in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly on Thursday. The car of Upazila cabinet minister Dharampal Singh's son, who was returning to Bareilly from the national capital Delhi, overturned uncontrollably near the Jhumka crossroads. However, cabinet minister Dharampal Singh survived the accident. The driver suffered minor injuries.

Yashwant Singh, son of Dharampal Singh, a cabinet minister in the Yogi Adityanath government in UP and MLA from Aonla assembly seat and Majhagwa block Pramukh, was coming from Noida in his car along with his friend Pradhan Sangh general secretary Sudhish Pandey. As soon as his car went ahead of Parsakheda Zero Point. During this time, his car slipped on the gravel. The luxury car fell into the ditch uncontrollably.  

When passersby came to know about the incident, they pulled the two out of the car. After this, a friend Sarvesh Thakur, who lives on the mini bypass, was informed about the incident. Sarvesh arrived with his friends. They brought the two of them to the city with them. Another person with them suffered minor injuries. Both of them reached home safely. The local police then pulled out the car with the help of a crane.
