PANAJI: After arriving in Goa from Delhi, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that there were no plans to change the state cabinet.  It was on Monday night that he returned goa.

On Monday, Sawant met with newly elected MLAs as well as Party President J.P. Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. MLA Michael Lobo was unable to attend the meeting because he is out of the country.

Pramod Sawant and this group of MLAs were also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but due to his hectic schedule, they were unable to do so.

"In the party office, we met the Home Minister and party leader. We talked about how to advance the party's campaign and take both Lok Sabha seats "At the Goa Airport, Sawant said. Nothing regarding the cabinet's reorganisation has been decided, he said.

Three of the eight MLAs will be appointed to the government, source said.  Sawant, though, has ruled out any such possibility. Sadanand Tanawade said that as Michael Lobo was out of India, he could not join them for the meeting. "We talked about the tasks that needed to be done for the state and the constituents. The prime minister was unavailable since he was busy" he said.

He said that MLA Sankalp Amonkar,Kedar Naik and  Delilah lobo were in Delhi and they will return later.
