Cairo bomb blast aimed attacking Women in Egypt

A major bombing attack took place in the Egypt's main Church or Coptic Christian Cathedral that killed around 25 people and 49 people injured. Most of them among the dead included both women and children who had gathered there for Sunday mass. This is termed as one of the most fatal and terrifying attacks on the Egypt Christian minority group. 

This is the second attack in Cairo as two days back one more such attack killed around six police men. Till now no extremists group has taken responsibility of the attacks but Islamic state group is the one which has targeted many Christians in the past.

Egypt's official MENA news agency said, " An assailant lobbed a bomb into a chapel adjacent to St Mark's Cathedral, seat of Egypt's Orthodox Christian church and home to the office of its spiritual leader, Pope Tawadros II, who cut short a visit to Greece to return to Cairo after the blast."
