San Francisco: It has recently been revealed that California utility giant Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) has agreed to pay $ 13.5 billion as compensation to wildfire victims in the state. It has been confirmed in a report that this information was given on Saturday. Pacific Gas and Electric's payment agreement relates to claims for several fatal explosions, including Campfire, Northern California Wildfire (2017), Ghost Ship Fire (2016) and Batte Fire (2015) in Oakland.
According to information received from sources, with the loss of more than 150 people in these four incidents, property worth millions and millions of dollars was destroyed. PG&E President Bill Johnson said, "Since entering the bankruptcy process, forest fire victims have received fair compensation, especially paying each individual has been our primary goal."
Sources said that "We want to help our customers, neighbors and friends in these affected areas, so that the area can be restored after the tragic wildfires."
