They illustrated in one experiment that “ Mice can measure the oxygen level of inhaled air using neurons in their nose.” This is the newest discovered sensory property in mice. This property they acquire in a genes which specially works to measure the oxygen level of a place. This property helps them to identify the area where oxygen level is not so good and they leave the place instantly.

Previously these neurons of mice are considered as odor neuron but it was lately proven wrong.
