Ottawa: These days scientists and doctors from all over the world are working hard to find a break from the coronavirus epidemic. Meanwhile, Canadian scientists have made a big claim that the drug used in the treatment of the deadly virus of cats is effective against corona in humans. This medicine develops therapeutics in the body of the infected, which helps in the treatment of corona infection.

Research at the University of Alberta, Canada claimed that the cats' drug was effective in neutralizing the viral from SARS Cove 2 infected cells prepared in the lab. This research has been published in the journal Nature Communications. According to researcher and professor of biochemistry at the University of Alberta, John Lemix, this drug can be used on humans.

This corona will be effective as an anti viral for infected patients. He further said that this drug prevents the virus from growing and is helpful in eradicating the infection. The first use of this drug was in the treatment of the virus in cats in 2002–2003. This helped in the treatment of severe cats disease.
