Amritsar: Punjab Assembly elections are just a few days away. The efforts of all political parties have intensified. Former CM Captain Amarinder Singh is slowly opening his cards after resigning from Congress. The Captain has now also opened the office of his party Punjab Lok Congress in Chandigarh.
Now Captain Amarinder Singh has claimed that his alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been confirmed. While there is still talk of bus seats with the Shiromani Akali Dal. Talking to the media, Captain Amarinder Singh said, "Our party Punjab Lok Congress has decided its alliance with BJP. We have to talk about seats. Soon it will be decided which seat will have a candidate from which party?'
Along with the BJP, Amarinder Singh is also reportedly trying to bring Shiromani Akali Dal rebel leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa to his court. The Captain said, "An alliance will also be formed with Sukhdev Dhindsa's party in the elections. I have told both parties (BJP and SAD) that we only have to bet on the winning candidates and support them.''
