Accident! Chhattisgarh: 5 died and two injured in an uncontrolled speeding car

Mau: Nowadays, accidents are on the rise. The recent accident has taken place in the Mau district. A speeding car of people coming from Chhattisgarh to Madhuban in Mau district overturned in a roadside ditch. A woman, including four children, was reportedly killed in the accident. The condition of the two persons injured in the accident is said to be critical. Both have been admitted to the district hospital.

All the people are said to be residents of the Chaurichaura area in Gorakhpur and all were returning from Chhattisgarh due to business reasons. The incident took place at night and police and locals staked out everyone after learning about the incident. Police say many people had died by the time they arrived.

The car of relatives coming from Chhattisgarh to the house of Prem Modanwal, a resident of Dubari Mor in Madhuban Nagar Panchayat of Mau, overturned in a pit near Belauli Sonbarsa late last Saturday night. Five persons including a woman died during the accident. It was night time due to which relief and rescue operations could not be carried out. Police activity started as soon as the information was received in the night itself but people could not be rescued even after a lot of effort.

Police said they tried late in the night and pulled out the bodies of the people from the car and sent them for postmortem and informed the family members. Later this morning, relatives and others of the deceased were present at the post mortem house. Five persons including the woman in the car were reportedly killed. The deceased include Mamata (35) wife of Mahesh Kumar, Shashi (13) daughter Mahesh Kumar, Mayank (6) son Mahesh Kumar, Mahi (4) daughter Mahesh Kumar, and Divyansh (8) son Dinesh Kumar.
