New Delhi: Britain on Sunday removed India's name from the 'Red' list and put it on the 'Amber' list and relaxed travel restrictions for the country. This means that Indians who have taken all doses of the corona vaccine will no longer be required to stay in isolation in the hotel for 10 days on arrival in the UK. The Department of Health and Social Care confirmed that all those who have been vaccinated in India, who have been vaccinated in India, who is on the amber list till 4 am on Sunday, will have to stay in the warranty at their homes or at the designated place mentioned in the mandatory form showing geographical conditions.
The condition of staying in government-approved isolation centers for 1,750 pounds per person plus 10 days at expense will no longer apply, but staying in isolation at home will be exempt only for those vaccinated in the UK or Europe. A source at DHSC said, "We believe that a variety of corona vaccines are being administered around the world and work is on to decide which non-British vaccine and certification solution to be recognized.''
There is some speculation about the inclusion of Oxford/Astrazeneca vaccine 'Covishield' produced by serum institute of India within the broad scope of UK sanctioned vaccines. However, the Government has clarified that the India-made version of the oxford/astrazeneca vaccine approved so far by the UK's Drug and Health Benefits Product Regulation Agency (MHRA) has been named as the wax jewelry brand and is currently the only vaccine recognized under the exemption rules.
