New Delhi, On Wednesday, a PCR van of Delhi Police was hit by a car that was later chased and intercepted by police resorting to one round of firing, near Kotla area in South Delhi.
According to the police, “suspicious looking car was flagged down by PCR personnel but it speed away and hit their van at around 1.40 PM.”
It was chased later by the PCR van as it headed towards South Extension.
A case has been registered against the driver Sumit, 23, under relevant sections of IPC at Kotla Mubarakpur police station, said the officer.
