At the age of 60, the Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher is declared dead after suffering from a cardiac arrest. Her demise happened when she was flying to Los Angeles from London on December 23. She was rushed to the nearby hospital Paramedics but too late to cure.

Simon Halls, the family spokesperson said in a statement, “It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning. She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”

The actress was worked in films like Star Wars, When Harry Met Sally, The Blues Brothers and Woody Allen’s Hannah and Her Sisters among others.
