Indore: Veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee has filed a defamation case against Bollywood critic Kamal Rashid Khan (KRK) in the Indore district court. Recently, Kamal Rashid Khan had tried to tarnish Manoj Vajpayee's image by making several indecent tweets against him. Manoj Bajpayee on Tuesday filed a defamation case against KRK through advocate Paresh Joshi.
Manoj Bajpayee appeared before the Indore district court on Tuesday and recorded the statements. Manoj's lawyer Parvez Joshi said KRK has been making derogatory statements against several superstars in the past. A few days ago, he had written several objectionable remarks on social media against Manoj Bajpayee, which has led to a decision to file a defamation case against him.
A complaint was filed by Bajpai before the first class judge of the district court seeking registration of a defamation case under Section 500 of the Indian Penal Code. He has also alleged that on July 26, KRK had made objectionable tweets on several social media platforms about Manoj Bajpayee.
