Bangalore: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while giving a speech at an election rally in Bidar, Karnataka, has once again raised the demand for a caste census in the country. He challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the caste data of the 2011 census public if he wanted to do good to OBCs, Dalits, and tribal communities.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said in his speech that 'if we want to take OBC forward in the country and give them their rights, then the first step would be to release the OBC census data to PM Modi. The Prime Minister would never do this. He will not do this because he does not want the welfare of OBCs, but Congress will do so as soon as it gets a chance. Former MP Rahul Gandhi, who is campaigning for the assembly elections to be held in Karnataka on May 10, attacked PM Modi and said that when you talk about OBCs, talk about their participation, talk about giving strength to OBCs, and if we talk about inclusion in the progress of India, then first make the OBC count public. I guarantee you that the PM of India will not do this because he does not want the interest of OBCs.
Rahul also fiercely targeted the so-called corruption of the current BJP government in Karnataka. Rahul Gandhi said that the 'Contractor Association' wrote a letter to the PM and said that 40 percent commission is being taken in Karnataka. The PM did not even reply to that letter. There is a scandal at the Mysore Sandal Soap Corporation. The MLA's son is caught with Rs 8 crore. A job scam happens, and the Prime Minister does not utter a word.
