Babri case: Former CBI director says on verdict, 'My claim proved right'

New Delhi: Former CBI Director P.C. Sharma said on Wednesday that the acquittal of all 32 accused in the Babri Masjid demolition case, the then Deputy Prime Minister L.K. His decision to end the criminal conspiracy charge against Advani is confirmed. PC Sharma further said that the same decision has been proved by the court's decision which I had claimed almost two decades ago that there was no criminal conspiracy.

According to media reports, PC Sharma said that during his tenure - first as an acting director of the CBI and later as a CBI chief, he went through every aspect of the case and came to the conclusion. That Advani cannot be accused of criminal conspiracy. PC Sharma, 80, further said that, 'In this case, the CBI had informed the court of Rae Bareli in 2003 about its decision. But then questions were raised on the CBI itself.

PC Sharma further said, "I believe that today's decision is a response to all the allegations and the matter has reached its final position." Let us tell you that the special court of CBI has acquitted all the accused in the judgment on 6 December 1992 in the demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.
