Kochi:  The primary suspect in the Kerala Gold Smuggling Case, Swapna Suresh, was given notice by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to come before the investigators so they could examine him about the Life Mission Case. She must appear before the CBI on Monday at 10.30 a.m.
The case relates to the State Government's Life Mission project.

Out of the Rs 18.50 crore provided by the Red Crescent via the UAE consulate, the project's Life Mission goal was to spend Rs 14.50 crore on the construction of homes for 140 families in Wadakkanchery in the Thrissur district. The deal specified spending the remaining funds to build a medical facility.

The project's contractor, UNITAC Builders, had claimed that the accused, including Swapna, had accepted a bribe worth Rs. 4.48 crore for the project through the company's managing director Santhosh Eapan.

On Thursday, Swapna Suresh claimed that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was "harassing" her due to the fact that she was attempting to expose the truth in the Gold Smuggling Case.

Speaking to reporters, Suresh stated: "I am currently starving thanks to Kerala's chief minister, who is meant to safeguard the public. Because I'm attempting to expose the truth, he is harassing me. He cannot merely take care of his daughter. He has to think of us all as daughters."

"Crime Branch questioned me in the conspiracy case they had filed against me the day before yesterday. In essence, it was bullying. I was urged by the investigating team to leave HRDS INDIA and to fire my attorney, Krishna Raj. This is a danger, "she added.
