Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot has made a big announcement on the ongoing political tussle over the paper leak case in Rajasthan's Teacher Recruitment Examination (REET Exam 2021). The Rajasthan government has decided to cancel the REET Level-2 examination (REET Level-2 cancelled), but the noise in the state's polity does not seem to be calmed down by this one decision alone.

The opposition party has been targeting the government since the REET paper leak was confirmed. The BJP is still demanding a CBI probe into the leak case. The BJP says that till the time the paper leak accused are not punished, they will continue to oppose the government. Even after the REET paper, level-2 was scrapped, the BJP did not seem convinced and said the roots of the paper leak were very deep in Rajasthan.

After CM Gehlot's announcement on Monday, BJP state unit president Satish Poonia said the reet paper leak was the biggest fraud ever in the history of Rajasthan. The Congress government has once again kicked the unemployed in the stomach. Poonia said that arrest, acquittal, trial and now cancellation of Level-2 in the REET paper leak case is not a solution in any way.
