Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party (SP) has released a new list of 10 candidates for the Uttar Pradesh elections on Tuesday (February 8). The SP has given the ticket to Jai Prakash Anchal from the Bairia assembly seat of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Surendra Singh. This time the BJP has cut off the ticket of MLA Surendra Singh, after which he is planning to enter the fray for the assembly election as an independent.

However, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhaspa) national president and former cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has also offered Surendra to join the alliance. Let us know that the BJP had released a list of 45 candidates on February 7. It did not have the name of Surendra Singh. However, Daya Shankar Singh was the most talked about in this list. He was fielded from Ballia. At the same time, his wife Swati Singh, who was a minister in the Yogi government of UP, was denied the ticket.

In Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, polling is to be held in 7 phases from February 10. The first phase of polling will be held on February 10, followed by the second on February 14, the third on February 20, the fourth on February 23, the fifth on February 27 and the sixth on March 3.
