Patna: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has made a big announcement for the Bihar Legislative Council (MLC). The RJD has announced to contest on 23 seats in the 24-seat elections, while the RJD's ally Left will field its candidate in one seat. Congress has not been given a single seat. On fielding candidates in 23 seats, Tejashwi Yadav said that the workers demanded that the party should contest on its own strength. After which the party has decided that this time with the help of the Left, we will enter the election.

He said that out of the 24 seats, RJD will field candidates in 23 seats and left on one. Tejashwi Yadav claimed that we will win the elections with strength. Talking to the media, Yadav said that MLC elections are to be held in 24 seats in which the people's representatives will exercise their franchise. RJD workers demanded that the party should contest the elections on its own and accordingly we have taken the decision. This time with the help of the Left, we are in the election, out of 24, the RJD will contest on 23 seats and on one, the Left will contest.

The Congress party has also announced to contest all the 24 seats if its dal does not melt in the Mahagathban. Earlier, Congress had staked claim to seven seats in the Mahagatbandhan. But the RJD did not give any sense to the Congress' demand. After which the Congress has announced to contest all the seats. Congress Legislature Party leader Ajit Sharma said Congress tried to follow the grand alliance religion, but the RJD does not accept it.
