East Kolkata Kolkata Police Commissioner IPS Rajiv Kumar's difficult is increasing. As the Calcutta High Court removed the shield from arrest, the sword of arrest started hanging on them. The CBI team arrived at Rajiv Kumar's official residence yesterday i.e. on Friday. Rajiv was not found there, but the investigating agency had summoned him there. In the summons, Rajiv has been asked to appear before the agency for questioning on Saturday. Rajiv Kumar is currently on a ten-day holiday.

But now after the court's decision, the way of his arrest has been cleared. The High Court on Friday also dismissed Kumar's plea in which he had appealed to quash the CBI notice. The CBI had issued a notice to him for questioning. The court said that the petitioner's allegation that the CBI was deliberately targeting him was not true.

On the directions of the High Court, the central agency investigating these scams has accused Rajiv of not being uncooperative in the investigation and to hide and destroy the evidence. The investigating agency has been repeatedly saying that Kumar needs to be detained and questioned in order to get to the bottom of the scam. Please tell that West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee and the Central Government had come face to face regarding the arrest of Rajiv Kumar. Rajiv Kumar is known to be close to Mamta Banerjee.
