New Delhi: After an expert committee formed by the CBSE evaluated the purported anomalies in the questions and the answer key of the Odia paper of Class 10 Term-1 examinations, a total of 28,310 Class 10 students benefited from the revision of the results.

Following the release of the CBSE Class 10 Term-I examination results on March 11, the board established a Dispute Redressal Mechanism to handle "real" student concerns on the same day. Many students stated that some of the answers in the answer key were incorrect.

CBSE stated in an official release, "On March 14, at 6 p.m., the Committee submitted its report. The CBSE has reviewed the OMRs of Odia Class 10 with the proper answer key verified by the expert committee based on the report."
