CM Nitish Kumar orders to install CCTV cameras at all sensitive places in Bihar

Patna: Nitish Kumar has instructed to install CCTV cameras at all sensitive sites at the earliest to facilitate law and order operations. Nitish inspected the police headquarters and disaster management office building at Sardar Patel Bhawan in the city on Wednesday. During the meeting at the police headquarters, Nitish directed that the police should prepare a detailed plan for modernisation.

In addition to the amount received from the Central Government under this head, the state government will also provide additional funds from its item. During the meeting, Nitish directed that the number of doctors in the Bihar police academy, a hospital in Rajgir should be increased and the entire system of training should be ensured within the academy. He said that the forensic lab being constructed here should be fully launched soon.

After the meeting, CM Nitish told the press that the law and order and crime control are being worked out with full promptness. There has been a detailed discussion with the Home Department and police officials. The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Home Aamir Subahani, Director General of Police SK Singhal, CM Principal Secretary Chanchal Kumar, Director General of Police Training Alok Raj, Bihar Police Academy Director Bhragu Srinivasan and other preferred officials.
