Social distancing is considered to be effective amid the outbreak of coronavirus. Social distancing means staying away from others and staying at home as much as possible. In view of this, millions of crores of employees of companies from all over the world are working from home. To encourage employees during the lock-down, Ceat has launched an initiative called COFIT-20 under which, in addition to regular consultation by recently appointed Chief Fitness Officer (CFO) Deepali Athawale for the company employees, the company has hired a fitness trainer. Vani Pahwa has also been appointed.

Two, 2-hour slots are provided every day, where they can reach the CFO directly on call for any health related question keeping in mind the fitness aspect during lockdown, Ms. Vani Pahwa, a fitness trainer. Conducts 30-minute practice sessions for employees via YouTube every day at 8:30 am

For your information, let us tell you that this initiative has been extended to the entire management staff, workers and colleagues. He is also ready to take any questions and suggestions from the employees. Expert advice on exercise, special guidance, physical pain, injuries is also provided by the fitness trainer. CEAT is using its online learning platform as well as other web platforms to cater to the learning needs of employees.
