Guwahati: Recently BJP executive president J.P. Nadda has said that the central government is committed to the development of Assam and to protect the interests of the people of the state. He said that only BJP is a party with principles. All other political parties have turned into family parties. J P Nadda was speaking at a party rally here on Saturday. While referring to CAA, he said that through this, only those who come here from neighboring countries will be given citizenship before 31 December 2014, who are victims of religious torture. Nadda alleged that Congress is misleading people on this issue under vote bank politics. The BJP leader said that out of the total 2300 political parties in the country, 54 are regional. All the parties in these regional parties are now being changed to family parties instead of ideological.
