Central Govt to invest Rs 64K-Cr in health sector over next 5 years: Mandaviya

Arunachal Pradesh: Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister, announced on Friday that the Centre will invest roughly Rs 64,000 crore in building health infrastructure in the country over the next five years.

While interacting with healthcare workers at Khandro Drowa Zangmo District Hospital during a day-long visit to Tawang district in Arunachal Pradesh, the Union Minister said that the central government is working to offer health security to everybody through various health welfare initiatives.

" Never in the past was health considered as wealth.The current Union Government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is working on these lines to ensure that everyone has access to health care through its numerous health welfare initiatives "According to an official release,

The minister emphasised the benefits of the Centre's Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, which will connect the digital health solutions of hospitals across the country "Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is a partner with whom we must collaborate. This will allow us to learn about a patient's medical history and provide them with high-quality health care. A total of Rs 64,000 crore would be invested in strengthening the country's health infrastructure during the next five years."
