New Delhi: Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the outline and structure of the National Civil Register (NRC) has not yet been prepared and lies are being spread about it. According to media reports, Ravi Shankar Prasad said in a press conference held at the state headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here that the outline of NRC is not yet ready. When its outline is made, then it will also be discussed.

At present, NRC is applicable only in Assam. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the work which Congress could not do in 70 years has been done by the government of Shri Narendra Modi.
