New Delhi: Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said on Monday that the result of the efforts of the PM Modi-led government was to prevent the huge impact of Coronavirus infection in the country and making the health sector of India sturdy.
Naqvi said this on the occasion of the approval of the 'Mobile Clinic' provided to the Holy Family Hospital in New Delhi by the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC) of the Ministry of Minority Affairs. He said that during the Corona period, a new energy has arisen in the lives of people, changes in work culture and responsibility towards the country and society. He said that the positive resolution of the people at the time of this crisis and the strong will of the Modi government was a result that India is moving fast in the direction of self-sufficiency in the field of health.
India also became self-sufficient and assisted other countries in the production of N-95 masks, PPE kits, ventilators and other health-related items. Today, the number of Corona hospitals are 1054. There was only one testing lab in our country at the beginning of the Corona epidemic, but today there is a network of 1400 labs. When the corona crisis came, only 300 tests could be done in a day, today more than 7 lakh tests are being done every day.
