New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai said on Tuesday that the finding of tunnels and drones near the India-Pakistan border is a proof of the enimity of the neighbouring country against India. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Rai while addressing the force at a function organized on the 56th Foundation Day of the Border Security Force (BSF) said that the border has an atmosphere of uncertainty, as a ceasefire is often violated from across the border.

He said that our neighbor is doing this type of activities to promote the smuggling and infiltration of arms and drugs along the Line of Control. He said that the finding of tunnels and drones is evidence of that country's hostility. Rai praised the force for protecting the frontiers even after inaccessible areas and inclement weather. Officials said Union Home Minister Amit Shah could not attend the ceremony due to some "significant official work", after which Rai was made the chief guest of the ceremony.

The parade program at the BSF camp in Chawla area of southwest Delhi was delayed by more than two hours. BSF was established on December 1, 1965. BSF protects the international border with Pakistan and Bangladesh.
