Bhopal: Continuation of thundershowers is continuing in different places of Madhya Pradesh. According to meteorologists, a cyclone of upper air has formed in the Bay of Bengal around Bengal. Due to its effect, the activities of rain are expected to increase from Monday.

Meteorologist SN Sahu said that at present, a Dronika line (trough) from north-eastern Madhya Pradesh to Marathwada remains. It is bringing moisture from the Arabian Sea. Due to intermittent showers at various places of the state, there has also been a lot of moisture in the atmosphere. Due to this, as soon as the temperature rises, it starts raining in the evening. An upper air cyclone has formed around Bengal. Due to this effect, rainy activities will increase in the state from Monday. Especially in northern Madhya Pradesh, there is a possibility of good rain somewhere.

A good monsoon inflow has been recorded in Ujjain. So far, about seven inches of water has fallen. On the other hand, due to good rains in Nagda region, Chambal Dam has overflowed in June itself. Due to this, the water of the Chambal river reached the Chamunda Mata temple complex on the nearshore on Saturday night. By Sunday morning the temple complex and the idol of the mother were submerged. However, after some time, water also started descending. People here said that this year, Chambal fared Mata Chamunda's feet in June. Usually, such a scene is seen in July-August.
