Politics runs everywhere and is a basis of who we are and how a country runs too. While politicians are the one who run it, who hold the engine of such requisitions and responsibilities of doing the right thing for a social and historical change. The creation of such an establishment, a power one holds while being political themselves when chosen to walk on the ethical path holds much potency to grate a world, a place so much better for its citizens.
Now, this political leader and a renowned philanthropist is sound to work with this essence of belief, presenting his astounding role in a big save of thousands of crores in a sugar industry, based in Haryana.
Chander Parkash Kathuria, who's rooted from the historic city of Karnal district in Haryana, committed himself and his entire life to aid the underprivileged and the needy. He has always been aligned to help his community and give it the love and support he received himself. Beginning his political career in 1995 under the assistance of Chaudhary Bansilal’s Haryana Vikas Party (HVP), he was soon recognised as a highly motivated and spirited individual which made him outshine himself. He was soon appointed as the Youth president of his district and since then Chander Parkash has been working towards his greater goal and marked his power through this strong political and social community drives within the state.
From working as a political leader with his own set of challenges, he never resisted to provide aid for the marginal and the needy. Some of his charitable acts include providing free education to orphaned children, arranging marriage ceremonies for poor girls of marriageable age, as well as organizing shelter for abandoned cows by building Gaushalas.
Starting young and strong, this was just the beginning of his achievements but the path that made him closer to himself, his association with RSS and his ideologies were enlightened when in 2004, he became a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with president Ganesh lal of HVP. Losing and winning is just a part of life and Chander understands it well. Despite losing to his opponent in the 2009's assembly polls, his spirit didn't die and he was soon invited to join the state cabinet as a minister. He became a part of it and his administrative decisions have brought significant reforms at a diverse level.
Furthermore, in 2014 as the BJP’s election in-charge for the Karnal assembly constituency, BJP's candidate won through a massive margin of 56,000 votes in the Lok Sabha elections.
And not long enough, in just two years i.e. in December of 2016, Chander Parkash was credited as the Chairman of Haryana Sugar Federation. A new destination to his journey started with this big step into his all-around political and social career. He has shown tremendous changes and upgrades within the industry, one of which includes how he availed the reduction of the losses by Rs 400 crores at the Federation in the first fiscal year itself. This has been so far such a relieving and posterior occurrence of how he was able to save the company from any further drastic complications. Within his tenure, the major highlight of his tenure has been inauguration of a new sugar mill in response to the 22-year-old appeal of the sugar farmers of Panipat and Karnal.
This might not be as big as a revolution, but is it a positive enhancement to the social and the political history and advancements, which Chander Parkash has been a dear life of the event.
