Chandrayaan 2's lander went missing from the moon's surface at around 1: 52 minutes, about 2.1 kilometers away. ISRO lost connection with Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover. Earlier, Chandrayaan was about to land on the lunar surface. At the end of the long journey of about 47 days, the contact of the lander broke a few minutes before reaching the moon's surface. After which desperation could be seen on the faces of ISRO scientists. However, the journey of Chandrayaan 2 has been full of adventure so far. Let's know in full detail.

Chandrayaan 2 was launched on July 22 from the Satish Dhawan Space Research Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. In these 47 days so far, the space shuttle has traveled from the Earth's orbit to the last orbit of the moon. Chandrayaan 2 first entered Earth's outer orbit of the Earth's parking orbit (this is a short-lived orbit designed to launch the space shuttle). Chandrayaan 2 left the last orbit of the earth on 14 August and made a move towards the moon's orbit. Come, know about this exciting journey of Chandrayaan 2.

First stop

If we talk about the first stop of Chandrayaan 2, then this space shuttle's time spent in the earth's orbit can be called the first stop of this ambitious moon mission of India. Between July 22 and August 13, Chandrayaan 2 was in the orbit of the earth. Chandrayaan 2 took about 25 days to cross the five Earth's orbit. On 24 July, Chandrayaan 2 entered the first orbit of the Earth, while on 6 August Chandrayaan2 entered the last orbit of the Earth. This journey of Chandrayaan 2 has been 1,43,585 kilometers.

On July 24, at 3:30 in the evening, the space shuttle entered Earth's first orbit. Chandrayaan 2 traveled 230 x 45,162 km in this first orbit. After being in the first orbit of the earth for two days, Chandrayaan 2 entered the second orbit of the earth between 1 and 2 am in the early hours of 26 July. During this, Chandrayaan 2 covered a distance of 250 x 54,689 km. Chandrayaan 2 stayed for about 3 days in the second orbit of the earth.

On July 29, at about 2.30 pm, this space shuttle entered Earth's third orbit. Chandrayaan 2 covered a distance of 268 x 71,558 km in this orbit.

After being in the third grade for about 3 days, Chandrayaan 2 entered the fourth orbit of the earth between 2 and 3 pm on August 2. In this class, Chandrayaan 2 traveled approximately 248 x 90,229 km.

Chandrayaan 2 spent about 4 days in the fourth grade, after which at 6:30 on August 6, Chandrayaan 2 entered the fifth and last orbit of the earth. In this class, Chandrayaan 2 covered a distance of about 221 x 1,43,585 km. On August 14, between 3 and 4 pm, Chandrayaan 2 left the Earth's orbit.

Second stop

On 14 August last month, Chandrayaan 2 left the Earth's orbit. Even after a week's delay in Chandrayaan 2's already scheduled launch, Chandrayaan 2 entered the moon's orbit within the stipulated time limit. Before the moon's orbit, Chandrayaan 2 covered a distance of about 266 x 4,13,623 km in the earth's orbit.

Between 14 August and 20 August, Chandrayaan 2 was in the middle of the orbit of the Earth and the Moon. On 20 August, Chandrayaan 2 entered the Moon's orbit. The space shuttle traveled 28 days before reaching the Moon's orbit on 20 August. Just 28 days after launch, Chandrayaan 2 entered the lunar orbit.

On August 21, at 12:30 in the day, Chandrayaan 2 entered the first orbit of the moon. Chandrayaan 2 traveled about 118 x 4,412 kilometers in this first orbit of the moon. After entering the first orbit of the moon for 7 days, Chandrayaan 2 entered the second orbit of the moon on August 28 at 5.30 am. During this Chandrayaan 2 traveled approximately 179 x 1,412 km.

After being in this class for 2 days, Chandrayaan 2 entered the third grade of the moon around 6 pm on 30 August. During this time Chandrayaan 2 covered a distance of about 124 x 164 km. Between 12:30 and 1:30 on September 1, Chandrayaan 2 entered the last moon orbit. During this time Chandrayaan 2 covered a distance of 119 x 127 km.

Third stop

The third stop of Chandrayaan 2 from 2 September to 6 September has been very exciting. Chandrayaan 2 spent about 1 day in the last orbit of the moon, after which Chandrayaan 2 separated Vikram Lander from him at 1.15 minutes on the day of 2 September. Vikram Lander lost contact with the headquarters of ISRO at around 1: 52 minutes. Scientists are now trying to find the location of Vikram Lander and Rover based on the information received from the orbiter.

Contact with Vikram Lander may have been lost, but Chandrayaan-2 orbiter will continue to research on the moon for 1 year
