Dehradun: There is good news for the devotees who wish to visit Char Dham in Uttarakhand. The Uttarakhand government has provided the facility of registration by telephone for this Char Dham Yatra, starting on April 22. For this, a 15-line call centre has been started. This call centre will especially facilitate those devotees who want to travel but have not been able to register themselves for some reason. And have already booked hotels on the travel route for this trip.

According to the officials of the Tourism Development Council of Uttarakhand, a 15-line call centre has been started with immediate effect at its headquarters in Dehradun. In fact, complaints are continuously coming to the government that a large number of pilgrims have booked hotels here through online or other means but have not been able to register for the yatra by coming here manually. Keeping these complaints in mind, the Uttarakhand government has started this call centre.

In fact, the complaint of passengers was also coming for not getting registration on the web portal. Therefore, on the one hand, while the passengers were in a condition of being deprived of Badri-Kedarnath darshan, on the other hand, there was a concern about the loss of the advance given by them for hotel booking. Similarly, the state government was also feeling that the number of passengers participating in the yatra could be less. In such a situation, the state government has issued a toll-free number, 1364, and started a call centre.

According to the officials of the tourism department, travellers wishing to visit Char Dham can register themselves on the official website, registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in. Apart from this, they will also get the facility of registering on WhatsApp at 8394-8338-33. If registration is not possible even after using both of these options, then this facility will also be available on the toll-free numbers 0135-1364 and 1364. Apart from this, registration facilities have been provided on the mobile app, touristcareuttarakhand.
