Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath claimed on Saturday (April 8) that gangsters who used to kidnap people by threatening to extort without any regard for law and order are now so scared that their pants are wet after being punished by the court. Has been Addressing a gathering after the bhoomi-pujan of Pepsi bottling plant 'Varun Beverages Limited' in district Gorakhpur, CM Yogi said that people are seeing that such people are scared who did not have any fear of the law earlier.

CM Yogi Adityanath said that when the court sentences him, his wet pants are clearly visible, people are watching it, and the mafia used to scare people, threaten industrialists with extortion, and kidnap businessmen. But today they are scared and running here and there to save their lives. The comment by Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath comes days after a court convicted gangster-politician Atiq Ahmed and two others in the 2006 Umesh Pal kidnapping case and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
