New Delhi: BJP MP from Delhi and former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir's problems seem to be increasing. A charge sheet has been filed against Gambhir in Delhi's Saket court, in which about 50 flat buyers have complained that they had booked flats in a real estate project in Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, but even after almost eight years Buyers did not get their flats. The brand ambassador of this project was Gautam Gambhir.

In 2011, Gautam Gambhir became the brand ambassador for a joint project of 'Rudra Buildwell Reality Private Limited' and 'HR Infracity Private Limited'. A case was registered against him in 2016 for cheating crores of rupees on the pretext of booking a housing project.

In the charge sheet filed in the Saket court, the police alleged that the company had promised to give the flat to the buyers on June 6, 2013, but even after a year, buyers were being given blank assurance in the name of the flat. On 15 April 2015, the authorities canceled the approval of the project due to payment of necessary license fees etc.
