Raipur: Farmers are all set to return home after receiving a formal letter from the Modi government at the Centre to meet the incomplete demands. The ongoing farmers' agitation at the Singhu border over agricultural laws has also come to an end. But Chhattisgarh CM and Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel has launched a new raga on Friday. He has said that the farmers' agitation is not over yet, it is only on hold.

The Chhattisgarh CM said farmers have not ended their agitation but have put it on hold for some time. He said farmers will first look into the government's proposal. The same speculation has started whether the farmer's movement was going on at the funding and gesture of the Congress, which congress leaders are saying that the agitation will not end even after the farmers announced that the agitation was over. And why don't congress leaders want the agitation to end?  The farmers have announced to stop their agitation on Wednesday. Addressing a press conference in this regard, farmer leader Gurunam Singh Chadhuni said that we have decided to end our agitation. He said that on 11th December, we will also vacate the movement sites.

The farmers were staging dharna at various borders of Delhi since 26th November last year to protest against three agricultural laws. The process of withdrawing agricultural laws from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha was completed on November 29 after PM Narendra Modi announced it. The farmers were frozen at dharna sites even after PM Modi apologized on TV and said he would repeal the agriculture law. He said that he would not withdraw from parliament unless the agricultural laws were withdrawn from Parliament.
