The next two AFC Cup matches of I-League team Chennai City FC will not be on schedule as the Asian Football Confederation has decided to postpone all subcontinental matches by the end of April. The Chennai team was scheduled to play from the Bangladeshi club on 29 April. AFC said in a statement that "after several countries have imposed travel restrictions due to the Kovid 19 pandemic, we have decided to postpone all matches of the AFC Cup 2020 until further notice". The Chennai team played a draw against the Maldives club this month.
