Chhath Parv is being celebrated in many parts of the country on the 6th day of Shukla Paksha of Kartik Mas. It is a four-day festival and began on Monday, November 8. Now today on 10th November, in the evening, Ardhya will be given during sunset. On the morning of 11th November, chhath will be concluded with the rising sun. Today, chhath festival is being celebrated in many parts of the country like Northern India, Bihar, Jharkhand etc. On this day Surya Dev and Chhath Maiyya are worshipped and ardhya is given. Women keep fast for their children. Couples who do not have children in their homes also keep chhath fast and express their desire to have children from Chhath Maiyya and mother Goddess fulfills their wish soon.
