New Delhi: Today, the festival of Eid al-Adha, or Bakrid, is being celebrated in different parts of the country. The tradition of sacrificing goats on the day of Bakrid is age-old. Many goats on Bakrid remain in the headlines for their specialties, but this year the goat has made headlines. Its weight is also high and height is also equal to that of a healthy person. The height of this goat is 8 feet and weighs 160 kg. This goat of Totapari and Jamnapari crossbreed is as special in appearance as it has specialties.

This particular type of goat is from the Durg district of Chhattisgarh. People are flocking to see this goat. This time during the lockdown, the festival of Bakrid will be celebrated according to the guidelines of the administration. More than one goat has come to the market to sacrifice on this Bakrid. The prices of these goats of the different breeds are also surprising. The name of the person who got this goat in the auction is Ahmed alias Lal Bahadur.

On giving information about this goat, Ahmed said that he bought it from Punjab. Its value is 1.53 lakh rupees and 23 thousand rupees have been spent in bringing it from Punjab to Chhattisgarh. The height of the goat is 8 feet and it can move its neck to a height of 10 feet. The length and weight of this goat is as special as its diet. Talking about the goat's diet, he said that he is fond of fruits and also eats fresh vegetables with great passion.
