Raipur: Police on Monday detained the husband who fled after killing the sister of Naxalite Jaggu Gota in Chhattisgarh. The special thing is that the criminal, who was absconding after killing his wife, was working in the collectorate canteen and the police were searching across the district. Police said the culprit has been arrested from Murgabazar. Apart from the police, Naxalites were also searching for him.

Police also said that Amru Gawde, a resident of Iragaon in Kondagaon district, had married a girl named Sugonti. After marriage, Amru stayed in his in-laws' house, but a few days later he started arguing with his wife day in and day out. Amru suspected that his wife was having an affair with someone else. Due to this suspect, he killed his wife, Sugonti, two years ago.

Amru had escaped after the murder of his wife Sugonti. At first, he started working in a hotel. Then, he came to Kanker and started cleaning the collectorate canteen. Meanwhile, the police kept searching for him and there was no suspicion that the criminal husband was hiding in the collectorate. However, the police arrested him from the rooster market after a piece of information.
