Korba: Police has arrested her father in the case of rape of a 17-year-old girl in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. On giving information about this, police officials of Korba district said that they have arrested her father in the case of rape of a girl child in Pali police station area of the district.
While giving the information to the police officials, the girl has complained to the police that she used to study in Bilaspur. The lockdown was implemented in March to prevent the effects of Coronavirus infection. During this time she came to her house in Pali area. During this time her mother lived outside due to duty. According to the girl, taking advantage of this, her 41-year-old father alleged that she (the girl) had a bad relationship with a childhood friend. The girl's father then pressurized her to have a relationship with herself. He said that the girl had complained to the police that while she was sleeping in her room on April 24, her father raped her. After this, the accused threatened the girl and raped her for a few days.
The police officer said that the girl was silent because of the father's threat, but when she did not stay with him, she filed a police complaint against the father. She said that the police have registered a case of rape against the accused father and he has been arrested.
