Amidst the Corona crisis, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot claims that Rajasthan is ahead of other states in the case of Rapid Testing. He said that rapid testing has been started in the state from Friday. On the first day, 52 people were tested through rapid testing kit at the Gunneshyan Dispensary in Jaipur and all of them were found to be negative.

In his statement, he said that 10 thousand kits have reached here so far, 50 thousand more kits will come in the coming days. The entire state will be screened through these kits. He said that the rapid test kit does not confirm the test report, but most of the symptoms of corona can be tested. He said that a lab will be set up at every district headquarters in the state to check the corona.

There are currently 6 labs in the state, labs will be set up at all district headquarters soon. Testing capacity will soon be 10 thousand per day. While talking to reporters through video conferencing, Gehlot said that 30 thousand camps are running in the state on behalf of the government in which people are staying. All kinds of facilities including food and water are being provided to those people.
