Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was re-elected as the TRS party president on Monday. The election was unanimous. A total of 18 nominations were filed by TRS leaders, all of whom proposed the name of K Chandrashekhar Rao. Election Officer Srinivas Reddy announced the result at the party plenary running at Hitex.

On the occasion, party leaders congratulated K Chandrashekhar Rao, who thanked the party leaders for electing him as the TRS President. As party president, Rao presided over the plenary meeting. There will be 20 years of achievements of TRS including the development done in Telangana after taking power in the plenary session. The session will also showcase achievements in the irrigation sector, development in industries and IT sector, improvement in education and health and the demands of TRS to the Centre.

Thousands of party workers and 6,000 delegates, dressed in pink attire, attended the plenary session of the TRS party at the Hitex International Convention Center (HICC). They were asked to reach the venue by 10 am and complete the registration process as per the constituency wise stalls .
