Patna: After several years Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar went Ahmedabad on Tuesday where he took part in the new government's swearing-in ceremony under the leadership of Vijay Rupani. This is the first time when Nitish was present along with the BJP after joining the NDA in the swearing-in ceremony of a BJP Chief Minister. However, in 2013 when Nitish walked with the BJP, the government used to stay away from Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony.

State Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who is leading Bihar on a continuous path of development, has reached Gandhinagar today to join Gujarat's newly elected Chief Minister Vijay Rupani's swearing-in ceremony. Prior to this, Nitish Kumar bestowed Vijay Rupani on the phone as well. Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi is also accompanied by the Chief Minister. All preparations have been made to make the swearing ceremony historic and grand in Gandhinagar.

Many Chief Ministers of the country, top government officials and most of the BJP's big leaders will attend the swearing-in ceremony. Earlier Nitish Kumar had also sent a message to the newly elected Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jairam Thakur on Twitter. Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar will be going to Patna after returning to join the swearing-in ceremony in Himachal.

Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has come to take part in frequent visits in the swearing-in ceremony from Patna. In order to participate in the oath-taking ceremony of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, other Chief Ministers of the NDA-ruled states, along with the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers, have been invited.
